By working together to share ideas and best practices, ILEA people continually inspire others both inside and outside of the industry.

Ambassador: Welcome and assist attendees on arrival

Front Desk: Arrive early! Set-up registration desk and name badges; meet and register attendees on site.

Callers: Identify prospective members, call to welcome new members, call non-members to encourage membership, assist members with benefits, and help with membership drives (twice yearly)

Membership analyst: Focus on recruitment strategies and retention, analyze trends, implement potential opportunities.

Social Media Strategist: Manage the #ILEADC Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest accounts. Goal: Increase readership and provide relevant, visually stimulating content that will educate the event community and drive viewers to become members of the ILEA DC chapter. 

Blog Manager: Create or re-purpose useful and insightful content for the #ILEADC blog on a weekly basis. Goal: Engage ILEA DC members, encourage conversation, educate on core curriculum.  

Membership Communications Manager: Collect and report the latest ILEA DC and D.C. event information to the ILEA DC members via newsletter 1x per week. Will be responsible for gathering information from other committee and board members and prioritizing events and updates as needed. Goal: Keep members up-to-date and informed on what ILEA DC is doing and how they can get involved. 

Public Relations Specialist: Engage with local media groups and establish strong relationships with the DC events community. Goal: Generate excitement in the DC community around ILEA DC events and members. Focus on getting the ILEA DC brand more recognition and its members’ event coverage. 

LinkedIn Specialist: Generate and re-purpose relevant content focused on career development in the D.C. events industry at least 1x per week. Goal: Increase number of followers, contributors, comments, shares, and job postings on the ILEA DC LinkedIn page.

Reporter: Write-up highlights of an event; interview members for spotlight.

Designer: Provide graphical design and layout for chapter communications.

Reviewer: Scan information sources for articles, websites, tools, etc. of potential interest to members.
